As a functional nutrition practitioner, I focus on uncovering and addressing the root causes of your symptoms. These are primarily based in:

  • Insulin resistance
  • Inflammation
  • Hormone imbalances
  • Disruptions in gut health
  • Nutrient deficiencies

It’s important to cast a wide net with initial bloodwork and other diagnostics to not only rule out/in other potential issues, but to learn your root causes and ultimately, know what tools to zoom in on to improve your symptoms.

My Approach to Nutrition:

  • Nutrition is one of the most powerful ways to manage PCOS and should be the foundation of any plan.
  • Food should never be equated with your morality or worthiness as a person.
  • You cannot build a healthy eating pattern based on restriction.  
  • Perfection doesn’t exist, nor does it need to be a goal.
  • Everyone’s starting point will look different and that’s ok- meet yourself where you are
  • Meaningful and lasting change is achieved by small, but deliberate steps built over time; NOT on a rigid, quick fix diet.

My Approach to Lifestyle:

PCOS Lifestyle
  •  Many aspects of our modern lifestyle disrupt the balance of the systems in the body. Holistic PCOS care focuses on lifestyle support.
  • In addition to nutrition, we must equally address stress, sleep, and endocrine-disrupting chemicals for the effects they exert on PCOS.
  • Movement is an effective tool, but it isn’t punishment for foods eaten. It’s effects reach far beyond calories burned. 
  • Meaningful and lasting changes in your lifestyle are achieved by small, but deliberate steps built over time


My Approach to Supplements:

  • You CANNOT build a successful PCOS plan on supplements alone, but layered in, they can be extremely effective. 
  •  More is not always more. 
  • Some supplements have been shown in studies to be just as effective as medications and often without the undesirable side effects. You deserve to know that you have options.
  • Quality matters. I only use and recommend professional lines that batch test and third-party test their materials for potency and purity.
